Very predictable result when JA Vichy (3-0) beat on the road Lille Metropole (1-2) 81-75. JA Vichy made 20-of-26 charity shots (76.9 percent) during the game. It was an exceptional evening for Romuald Morency (202-95) who led the winners and scored 11 points and 5 rebounds. American guard Andell Cumberbatch (198-93, college: St.Bonaventure, agency: Octagon Europe) accounted for 10 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side. JA Vichy's coach Guillaume Vizade allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Florent Tortosa (198-89) came up with 12 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and swingman Thomas Ceci-Diop (198-92) added 11 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Lille Metropole in the defeat. Four JA Vichy and five Lille Metropole players scored in double figures. JA Vichy's next round opponent will be Poitiers (#14) at home which should be an easy win for them. Lille Metropole will play against Nantes (#12) and hope to win that game.
