Regular Season Round 6: Andujar - Almeria 58-73

Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both sixth ranked Almeria and 7th ranked Andujar had identical 1-2 record. But Andujar was not able to use a home court advantage and lost to the opponent from Almeria 73-58 on Saturday night. The guests trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 4-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 73-58. It was a good game for forward Jesus Moral (-92) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds. Argentinian-Italian Guillermo Casini (191-82) contributed with 15 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four Almeria players scored in double figures. Swingman Bernardo Castillo (196-88) replied with 16 points (perfect from the field making all nine shots !!!) and center Antonio-Joaquin Garcia (202-86) added 6 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Andujar. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Almeria (2-2) moved-up to fifth place in Group D-A, which they share with Multiopticas Baza. Loser Andujar keeps the seventh position with three games lost.
