Very expected game when 12th ranked Salt (1-5) lost on the road to fourth ranked Tarragona (5-1) 95-82 on Saturday. Tarragona outrebounded Salt 46-24 including a 35-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a good game for guard Adria Duch (185-95) who led his team to a victory with 25 points. Forward Jaume Zanca (195-97) contributed with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Jordi Carrera (-98) replied with 16 points and Guillem Sabates (195-96) added 14 points in the effort for Salt. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Tarragona moved-up to second place in Group C-A, which they share with Mataro Feimat and Quart. Salt lost fifth consecutive game. They dropped to the thirteenth position with five games lost.
