Very predictable result when fourth ranked Unicaja Malaga (5-1) defeated at home 10th ranked Zaragoza (2-4) 98-82 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 56-38 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Zaragoza was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. The former international forward Carlos Suarez (203-86, agency: Court Side) scored 10 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and French center Mathias Lessort (206-95, agency: BeoBasket) chipped in 13 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Unicaja Malaga have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Baskonia. Zaragoza lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the eleventh position with four games lost. Unicaja Malaga will face Burgos (#15) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them.
