An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Shimane. First ranked Dragonflies faced 3rd ranked Shimane Magic. Guests from Hiroshima (9-1) defeated host Shimane Magic (6-4) 76-69. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Shimane Magic. American power forward Jamari Traylor (203-92, college: Kansas) notched a double-double by scoring 23 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 blocks to lead the effort and the other American import center Eric Thompson (204-93, college: Pacific) supported him with 12 points and 13 rebounds. Four Dragonflies players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 22 points, 14 rebounds and 7 assists by Hungarian Rosco Allen (208-93, college: Stanford, agency: Pensack Sports) did not help to save the game for Shimane Magic. Swingman Takuya Soma (181-91) added 2 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists for lost side. Newly promoted Dragonflies maintains first position with 9-1 record. Shimane Magic at the other side keeps the third place with four games lost. Dragonflies will have a break next round. Shimane Magic will play again at home against the league's leader Dragonflies and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
