Regular Season Round 6: Andorra II - Alfinden 95-86

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 7th ranked Alfinden (2-3) lost on the road to eighth ranked Andorra II (3-3) 95-86 on Saturday. Alfinden trailed by 12 points at halftime and as many as 18 after three quarters before a 32-23 last quarter charge cut the deficit to 86-95 at the end of the game. Andorra II forced 21 Alfinden turnovers. Strangely Alfinden outrebounded Andorra II 44-32 including 17 on the offensive glass. It was a good game for Bosnian guard Sani Campara (189-99) who led his team to a victory with 31 points and 4 assists. Naturalized Andorra center Cinto Gabriel (199-87) contributed with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. Point guard Roberto Perez (192-93) replied with 19 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and Pablo Gracia (197-96) added 20 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Alfinden. Four Andorra II and five Alfinden players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Andorra II moved-up to sixth place in Group C-B, which they share with SESE. Alfinden lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the eighth position with three games lost.
