A very interesting game took place in Brescia. It ended with only three-point home defeat of 11th ranked Germani BR (1-3) to twelfth ranked Sidigas AV (2-2) 77-74 on Saturday evening. Sidigas AV brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. American point guard Norris Cole (188-88, college: Cleveland St.) fired 19 points and 6 assists for the winners. The other American import point guard Keifer Sykes (183-93, college: Green Bay) chipped in 18 points and 7 rebounds. International point guard Luca Vitali (201-86) produced 18 points and 5 assists and American guard Bryon Allen (193-92, college: George Mason) added 10 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Germani BR's coach Andrea Diana tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Sidigas AV moved-up to seventh place, which they share with 3 other teams. Germani BR at the other side keeps the eleventh position with three games lost. Sidigas AV's next round opponent will be Dolomiti En. TR (#15) in Trento and are hoping to win another game. Germani BR will play at home against VL Pesaro (#13) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
