Regular Season Round 2: Racing Chivilcoy - Rocamora 72-81

There was no surprise when Chivilcoy Racing (0-3) lost at home to Rocamora (2-1) 81-72 on Saturday. It was a great shooting night for Rocamora especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.4 percentage. American swingman Dominique Shaw (193-95, college: William Penn) orchestrated the victory by scoring 24 points and 7 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). Point guard Facundo Gago (177-96) contributed with 14 points and 4 assists for the winners. Four Rocamora players scored in double figures. Rocamora's coach Juan Manuel Varas used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Point guard Alejo Barrales (175-91) replied with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 assists and center Jose Ojeda (207-83) added 16 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Chivilcoy Racing. Rocamora will face Ciclista in Juninense in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Chivilcoy Racing will play at home against CA Platense (#2) and hope to win that game.
