Very significant was Bashkimi's (#6) 98-91 road victory against 5th ranked Borea. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Borea. Bashkimi made 22-of-26 charity shots (84.6 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 29 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by Borea's players. American forward Jordan Capps (201-95, college: SE Louisiana) notched 25 points and 9 rebounds to lead the effort and Swedish guard Alexander Gorski (197-94, college: Wyoming, agency: Promotex) supported him with 23 points and 6 assists. Gorski is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Five Bashkimi players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 27 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists by American forward Patrick Wrencher (198-95, college: St.Francis, PA) did not help to save the game for Borea. Point guard Shpend Gashi (184-88) added 22 points. Defending champion (3-3) moved-up to third place, which they share with Ylli and Prizreni. Borea at the other side dropped to the sixth position with four games lost. Bashkimi's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Prizren Prizreni.
