There was a surprise result in Lugo where sixteenth ranked Leche Rio Breogan (2-3) defeated higher ranked Blusens Monbus (2-4) 69-56 on Saturday. The game without a history. Leche Rio Breogan led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Jamaican center Jerome Jordan (215-86, college: Tulsa) scored 9 points and 14 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the former international swingman Sergi Vidal (199-81) chipped in 12 points and 4 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was international center Nacho Llovet (202-91) with 14 points and 8 rebounds and Greek swingman Kostas Vasiliadis (200-84) scored 11 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Leche Rio Breogan moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Joventut and Estudiantes. Blusens Monbus lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the eleventh position with four games lost. Leche Rio Breogan will face UCAM Murcia (#17) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Blusens Monbus will play against Gipuzkoa (#18) and hope to win that game.
