A very interesting game took place in Bauru. It ended with only one-point home defeat of 10th ranked Paschoalotto/Bauru (1-3) to fifth ranked Vivo/Franca (3-1) 70-69 on Saturday evening. Guest team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. The former international point guard Elio Corazza (193-89, college: Miami Dade CC) fired 9 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners. International forward Lucas Silva (209-95) chipped in 15 points and 6 rebounds. Four Vivo/Franca players scored in double figures. Argentinian Enzo Ruiz (193-88) produced 22 points and 7 rebounds and international power forward Lucas Mariano (208-93) added 14 points respectively for lost side. Vivo/Franca moved-up to third place, which they share with Paulistano and Mogi. Paschoalotto/Bauru at the other side dropped to the twelfth position with three games lost. Vivo/Franca's next round opponent will be SKY/Basquete (#13) in Aldeota and are hoping to win another game. Paschoalotto/Bauru will play on the road against Brasilia and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
