Regular Season Round 5: Haga BG - Orebro 85-81

Bottom-ranked Orebro is still unable to win any game. This time they lost on the road their second consecutive match to sixth ranked Haga BG (2-2) 85-81 on Saturday evening. Orebro trailed by 16 points after 3 quarters before a 26-14 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 81-85 at the end of the game. Haga BG forced 24 Orebro turnovers. Strangely Orebro outrebounded Haga BG 38-22 including a 30-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Point guard Jacob Burke (171-2) nailed 28 points for the winning side and Ludvig Worge (-0) accounted for 18 points. Haga BG's coach David Bergstrom used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. Robert Schultz (-89) came up with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds and Adam Hammarback (-90) added 17 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Orebro in the defeat. Four Orebro players scored in double figures. Haga BG moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Hammarby. Loser Orebro still closes the standings with two games lost. Haga BG will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Orebro will play against Team4Q (#3) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
