There was a surprise result when sixteenth ranked Pau-Lacq-Orthez (2-5) beat at home higher ranked ASVEL (3-4) 89-78 on Saturday. Pau-Lacq-Orthez dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to ASVEL's 44. Pau-Lacq-Orthez forced 21 ASVEL turnovers and outrebounded them 51-22 including a 26-6 advantage in offensive rebounds.
