Very expected game when 14th ranked Antibes (2-5) was crushed on the road by third ranked Dijon (6-1) 104-69 on Saturday. Dijon dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Antibes' 30 and made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. Dijon forced 21 Antibes turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists. It was a great evening for center Gary Berchel (203-98) who led his team to a victory scoring 24 points and 7 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field). Guard Dimitri Radnic (194-99) helped adding 22 points, 5 assists and 7 steals. Four Dijon players scored in double figures. At the losing side guard Robin Pradines (192-0) responded with 21 points and forward Mathis Rostomoff (202-0) scored 10 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Dijon. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Gravelines. Loser Antibes dropped to the thirteenth position with five games lost. Dijon will face ASVEL (#11) in Villeurbanne in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Antibes will play at home against Chalons-Reims and hope to win that game.
