Regular Season Round 3: Poitiers - Paris 70-68

A very close game took place in Poitiers between Poitiers and Paris. Poitiers (1-2) got a very close home victory over Paris (0-3). Poitiers managed to escape with a 2-point win 70-68 on Saturday evening. It was a great evening for American point guard Jay Threatt (180-89, college: Delaware St.) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 assists. Kevin Harley (196-94) helped adding 17 points (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Poitiers' coach Ruddy Nelhomme used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. The best for the losing side was Trinidad and Tobago-Australian point guard Daniel Dillon (193-86, college: Arizona) with 15 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) and American forward Dustin Sleva (203-95, college: Shippensburg, agency: Inception Sports) scored 15 points. Poitiers will meet JA Vichy (#4) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Paris will play against Sluc Nancy (#7) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
