There was a surprise result when eleventh ranked Sant Josep (2-3) won against higher ranked SESE (3-3) in Barcelona 76-69 on Saturday. Sant Josep dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to SESE's 24. It was a good game for Luis-Enrique Gonzalez who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds. Guard Francesc Pascal (188-85) contributed with 18 points for the winners. Five Sant Josep players scored in double figures. Guard Albert Barquets (189-98) replied with 21 points and 4 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and Oscar Martinez (-96) added 13 points and 4 assists in the effort for SESE. SESE's coach Carles Espona rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Sant Josep moved-up to eighth place in Group C-B, which they share with Alfinden. Newly promoted SESE keeps the sixth position with three games lost.
