There was a surprise result when fourteenth ranked Aridane (2-4) won against higher ranked CB Guadalajara (4-1) in Los Llanos 75-67 on Saturday. Aridane dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to CB Guadalajara's 26. It was a good game for American guard Corey Raley-Ross (191-91, college: Buffalo) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists. Mali-American power forward Nouhoum Bocoum (207-92, college: Arkansas St.) contributed with 10 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Aridane's coach Carlos Garcia used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Forward Raul Lazaro (195-87) replied with 20 points and 6 rebounds and Diego Garcia (-98) added 12 points in the effort for CB Guadalajara. Aridane moved-up to ninth place in Group B, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser CB Guadalajara dropped to the fourth position with one game lost.
