Residence's fans can finally celebrate the first win of their team after five consecutive losses. The victory is especially important as they outplayed much higher ranked Sparta (3-3) 76-54. Point guard Kevin Moura (182-94) scored 28 points and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and American forward Marlin Mason (201-93, college: Cleveland St.) chipped in 18 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was the former international Dean Gindt (201-91) with 14 points and 7 rebounds and American forward Mike Best (208-93, college: Cal-Irvine) scored 11 points, 8 rebounds and 4 blocks.
