Enea AZS P. can celebrate their first win this season after four consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Widzew (1-4) 81-70. Enea AZS P. players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. American guard Jazmine Davis (170-93, college: Washington, agency: LBM Management) orchestrated the victory by scoring 17 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists. Ukrainian guard Olena Samburska (176-89) contributed with 25 points for the winners. Enea AZS P.'s coach Marek Lebiedzinski allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. International Klaudia Gertchen (182-96) answered with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds and guard Julia Drop (175-95) added 16 points and 7 assists in the effort for Widzew. It was the only win of host team this round and in all other games visitors recorded victories. Enea AZS P. left bottom position moving up to ninth place, which they share with AZS UMCS and Widzew. Enea AZS P. will play against Politechnika Gdanska (#12) at home in the next round. Widzew will play against AZS Gorzow Wielkopolski to get more than just one victory in their record.
