Regular Season Round 5: Bolzano BK - Crema 49-65

Rather predictable result when third ranked Team Crema (4-1) defeated on the road 7th ranked Bolzano BK (2-3) 65-49 on Saturday. Croatian forward Ivana Blazevic (184-93) stepped up and scored 18 points and 6 rebounds for the winners and power forward Alice Nori (182-93) chipped in 15 points and 7 rebounds. Team Crema's coach Diego Sguaizer used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Maria-Daniela Servillo (170-89) responded with 19 points and power forward Chiara Villarini (186-96) scored 8 points and 7 rebounds. Team Crema maintains third place in A2 with 4-1 record behind leader Alpo VF. Loser Bolzano BK dropped to the eighth position with three games lost. Team Crema will face Varese (#16) at home in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Bolzano BK's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Bolzano to the arena Bolzano AV.
