The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Belfius Mons-Hainaut as it allowed them to take a leadership position after previous leader's (Oostende) loss. Belfius Mons-Hainaut defeated 3rd placed Limburg United in Jemappes 80-75. Belfius Mons-Hainaut dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Limburg United's 36. Serbian center Uros Nikolic (207-87, agency: BeoExcell) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds for the winners and American guard Chris Jones (188-93, college: Angelo St.) chipped in 16 points and 5 assists. Four Belfius Mons-Hainaut players scored in double figures. American guard Austin Price (193-95, college: Lehigh) responded with 16 points and the other American import center Khaliq Spicer (206-94, college: Kent St.) scored 15 points. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Oostende. Limburg United at the other side dropped to the fourth place with two games lost. Limburg United will play next round against Basic-Fit Brussels trying to get back on the winning streak. Belfius Mons-Hainaut will try to continue on its current victory against eighth ranked Antwerp Giants on the road.
