There was a surprise result in Warszawa where tenth ranked Legia (2-2) defeated higher ranked Wilki Morskie (2-2) 75-70 on Sunday. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Legia made 7 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of American swingman Omar Prewitt (201-94, college: William & Mary) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds and swingman Jakub Karolak (196-93, agency: BeoExcell) who added 17 points during the contest. At the losing side the former international swingman Pawel Kikowski (193-86) responded with 11 points and 5 assists and Lithuanian center Martynas Sajus (208-96) scored 12 points and 8 rebounds. Five Wilki Morskie players scored in double figures. Legia moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Wilki Morskie. Legia will face Trefl (#13) in Sopot in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
