Regular Season Round 5: Lecco - Lugo 100-71

Everything went according to plan when twelfth ranked Lecco (2-2) outscored at home bottom-ranked Lugo (0-5) 100-71 on Sunday. Lecco forced 22 Lugo turnovers. They shot the lights out from three sinking 16 long-distance shots on high 55.2 percentage. Lecco looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Point guard Federico Di-Prampero (190-95) stepped up and scored 20 points and 6 assists for the winners and power forward Luigi Brunetti (205-88) chipped in 14 points and 10 rebounds. Simone Lucarelli (197-96, agency: Players Group) responded with 15 points and 6 rebounds and forward Matteo Galassi (187-98) scored 13 points and 5 rebounds. Five Lecco and four Lugo players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Lecco moved-up to eighth place in B. Lugo lost their fifth game in a row. They still close the standings with five games lost. Lecco will face Padova (#11) on the road in the next round. Lugo will play against Juvi Cremona (#10) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
