Regular Season Round 6: Notec Inowr. - Miedzychod 93-83

Very important is a road loss of third ranked Miedzychod (4-2) against fifth ranked Notec Inowr. (4-2) on Sunday night. Visiting Miedzychod was defeated by Notec Inowr. in Inowroclaw 93-83. Notec Inowr. outrebounded Miedzychod 46-31 including a 34-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three nailing 13 long-distance shots on high 54.2 percentage. Notec Inowr. players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. It was a good game for center Wojciech Zurawski (202-76) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds. Guard Mateusz Marciniak (190-90) contributed with 23 points for the winners. Notec Inowr.'s coach used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Mikolaj Smarzy (191-99) replied with 20 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and swingman Jakub Nowak (188-89) added 16 points in the effort for Miedzychod. Four Miedzychod players scored in double figures. Notec Inowr. have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place in Group A, which they share with defeated Miedzychod. Notec Inowr.'s next round opponent will be AZS UMK Torun (#9) at home where they are favorite. Miedzychod will play against Arka II (#7) in Gdynia and hope to win that game.
