There was an upset in Rawicz where higher ranked Slask 2 Wroclaw (3-3) was defeated by twelfth ranked Rawia (1-4) 76-64 on Sunday. Rawia made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. Rawia outrebounded Slask 2 Wroclaw 38-27 including 29 on the defensive glass. Swingman Szymon Maciolek (190-91) scored 17 points and 6 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and point guard Bartlomiej Rodak (180-96) chipped in 12 points during the contest. The best for the losing side was power forward Szymon Tomczak (201-98) with 8 points and 8 rebounds and guard Jan Malesa (187-99) scored 14 points. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Rawia left bottom position moving up to tenth place in Group D, which they share with Zielona Gora 2. Loser Slask 2 Wroclaw keeps the seventh position with three games lost. Rawia will face league's second-placed Klodzko on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
