There was a surprise result when fourteenth ranked Desio (2-3) won against at home higher ranked Padova (2-3) 86-72 on Sunday. Desio looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. Padova was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Power forward Giovanni Lenti (200-96) stepped up and scored 18 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners and naturalized Swiss Olivier Giacomelli (198-95, agency: Players Group) chipped in 19 points and 6 rebounds.
