No shocking result in a game in Roma where third ranked Salerno (4-1) won against 8th ranked Palestrina (2-3) 83-75 on Sunday. Point guard Roberto Maggio (183-90) stepped up and scored 16 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners and forward Lorenzo Tortu (200-92) chipped in 15 points and 10 rebounds. Four Salerno players scored in double figures. Swingman Nelson Rizzitiello (198-84) responded with 24 points and 5 rebounds and Argentinian guard Nicolas Morici (192-94, agency: Octagon Europe) scored 6 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. Salerno moved-up to second place in B, which they share with Vicenza. Loser Palestrina dropped to the ninth position with three games lost. Salerno will face league's leader Roma S.Azzurra at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Palestrina's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Roma IUL Tiber.
