Another interesting game for Panteras (3-3) which played in Queretaro against Libertadores (2-4). Fifth ranked Panteras had an easy win 102-86. Panteras players were unselfish on offense dishing 31 assists. American guard Hameed Ali (188-93, college: Texas A&M-CC) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 25 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists for the winners and the former international forward Fabian Jaimes (198-92) chipped in 14 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Five Panteras players scored in double figures. Nigerian-American George Williams (198-90, college: Wayland Baptist) responded with 23 points and the former international guard Cezar Guerrero (185-92, college: Fresno St., agency: Best of You Sports) scored 17 points and 5 assists. Libertadores' coach rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Panteras moved-up to third place, which they share with Lenadores and Laguneros. Libertadores at the other side keep the sixth position with four games lost. Panteras will play against league's second-placed Aaguacateros in Michoacan in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Libertadores will play on the road against Abejas (#4) in Guanajuato and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
