Regular Season Round 3: Breakers - 36ers 114-94

The game in Auckland supposed to be also quite interesting. Adelaide 36ers (2-4) played at the court of New Zealand Breakers (2-2). New Zealand Breakers did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 114-94 on Sunday. New Zealand Breakers dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to Adelaide 36ers' 52. The best player for the winners was New Zealand forward Finn Delany (198-95, college: SW Baptist) who scored 27 points and 5 rebounds. American forward Armani Moore (193-94, college: Tennessee) chipped in 17 points and 5 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was center Harry Froling (205-98) who recorded 20 points and 9 rebounds and the former international power forward Daniel Johnson (212-88, college: Pepperdine) added 14 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists respectively. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. New Zealand Breakers will face Perth Wildcats on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Adelaide 36ers will play against Bullets (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
