There was no surprise when bottom-ranked Campli (0-5) was outplayed on the road by tenth ranked Corato (3-2) 99-71 on Sunday. Corato forced 22 Campli turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Campli's players. Center Leonardo Marini (205-95) stepped up and scored 19 points and 6 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners and point guard Mauro Stella (190-84, agency: Players Group) chipped in 10 points and 11 assists. Corato's coach felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Power forward Mame Thiam (200-99) responded with 14 points and 9 rebounds and Montenegrin power forward Jakov Milosevic (201-99) scored 13 points and 6 rebounds.
