Regular Season Round 10: Shiga L-Stars - SeaHorses 56-77

The game between closely ranked teams ended with fourth ranked Aishin Sea Horses' (5-5) road victory over 5th ranked Shiga L-Stars (2-8) 77-56 on Monday. It was a very good performance for the former international swingman Kosuke Kanamaru (193-89) who helped to win the game recording 25 points. American center Isaac Butts (208-89, college: Appalachian St.) contributed with 13 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Nigerian-American power forward Gani Lawal (206-88, college: Georgia Tech, agency: Octagon Europe) replied with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists and American-Israeli center DOr Fischer (211-81, college: W.Virginia) added 10 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Shiga L-Stars. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Aishin Sea Horses have an impressive five-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Kawasaki BT. Shiga L-Stars lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the fifth position with eight games lost. Aishin Sea Horses will face league's leader Toyama Grouses at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Shiga L-Stars will play against the league's leader Tochigi Brex (#1) and hope to win that game.
