Regular Season Round 2: Holon - Rishon Le-Zion 87-68

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion (1-1) on the court of Elitzur Holon on Monday night. Visitors were rolled over by Elitzur Holon 87-68. They made 19-of-21 free shots (90.5 percent) during the game. Elitzur Holon looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American players dominated the game. Forward Jordan Hooper (188-92, college: Nebraska) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 11 rebounds (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!). Forward Shae Kelley (185-91, college: Minnesota) contributed with 27 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Four Elitzur Holon players scored in double figures. Power forward Jillian Alleyne (190-94, college: Oregon) replied with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 16 rebounds and forward Breanna Richardson (185-95, college: Mississippi St.) added 24 points and 12 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) in the effort for Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion. Elitzur Holon is looking forward to face Ramat Hasharon (#10) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion will play against Maccabi Ramat Gan (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
