Regular Season Round 10: Shiga L-Stars - SeaHorses 75-78

Important game to mention about took place in Shiga. Fourth ranked Aishin Sea Horses (5-5) saved a 3-point victory on the road edging 5th ranked Shiga L-Stars (2-8) 78-75 on Tuesday evening. Aishin Sea Horses looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. It was a very good performance for American center Isaac Butts (208-89, college: Appalachian St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists. The former international center JR Sakuragi (206-76, college: UCLA) contributed with 13 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners. Aishin Sea Horses' coach Kimikazu Suzuki used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. American-Israeli center DOr Fischer (211-81, college: W.Virginia) replied with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds and Nigerian-American power forward Gani Lawal (206-88, college: Georgia Tech, agency: Octagon Europe) added 14 points and 13 rebounds in the effort for Shiga L-Stars. Five Aishin Sea Horses and four Shiga L-Stars players scored in double figures. Aishin Sea Horses have an impressive five-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Kawasaki BT. Shiga L-Stars lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the fifth position with eight games lost. Aishin Sea Horses will face league's leader Toyama Grouses at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Shiga L-Stars will play against the league's leader Tochigi Brex (#1) and hope to win that game.
