Regular Season Round 1: Marburg - Sokol HK 79-77

First defeat of league's leader Czech Sokol Hradec Kralove (0-1) against German BC Pharmaserv Marburg (1-0) 79-77 was the most important game of the last round. It was a great shooting night for BC Pharmaserv Marburg especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 62.5 percentage. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Katlyn Yohn (182-91, college: Bradley) who helped to win the game recording 25 points (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). Canadian-Hungarian center Alexandria Kiss-Rusk (193-93, college: McGill, agency: Interperformances) contributed with 11 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Center Petra Kulichova (198-84) answered with 14 points and 9 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and center Klara Vojtikova (190-94) added 11 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Sokol Hradec Kralove. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Sokol Hradec Kralove will have a break next week, which should allow them to rest. BC Pharmaserv Marburg will try to continue on its current victory against Piestanske C. in Piestany.
