There was a minor upset in Radom where 12th ranked Trefl (1-3) was defeated by fourteenth ranked Rosa (1-3) 75-68 on Wednesday. Rosa made 18-of-22 free shots (81.8 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Artur Mielczarek (196-84) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and American-Hungarian point guard Obadiah Trotter (188-84, college: Alabama A&M) who added 13 points and 8 assists during the contest. Four Rosa players scored in double figures. At the losing side American guard Vernon Taylor (192-87, college: Troy) responded with 22 points and 4 assists and forward Damian Jeszke (200-95) scored 16 points and 9 rebounds. Rosa left bottom position moving up to eleventh place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Trefl. Rosa will face higher ranked Twarde Pierniki (#3) in Torun in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
