Regular Season Round 3: Ramat Hasharon - Holon 84-90

Very expected game when Ramat Hasharon (0-3) was defeated at home by Elitzur Holon (3-0) 90-84 on Thursday. Elitzur Holon made 23-of-28 free shots (82.1 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was American forward Jordan Hooper (188-92, college: Nebraska) who scored 38 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds (perfect behind the arc making all five shots). Her fellow American import guard Loryn Goodwin (175-94, college: Oklahoma St.) chipped in 26 points, 5 rebounds, 7 assists and 7 steals. At the other side the best for losing team was international Nof Kedem (170-94, college: Northwestern) who recorded 24 points and American guard Sydney Wiese (185-95, college: Oregon St., agency: LBM Management) added 14 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Elitzur Holon will meet Elitzur Ramla (#6) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Ramat Hasharon will play against Maccabi Ramat Gan (#5) in Ramat Hen and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
