Regular Season Round 6: Korihait - Ura Basket 90-108

7th ranked UU-Korihait (2-5) was outscored at home by seventh ranked Ura Basket (2-6) with the biggest margin this round 108-90. The game was mostly controlled by Ura Basket. UU-Korihait was better in third quarter 32-24. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Ura Basket dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to UU-Korihait's 32. They outrebounded UU-Korihait 44-31 including 30 on the defensive glass. Ura Basket players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. It was a good game for Senegalese-American power forward Malik Dime (206-92, college: Washington) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 24 rebounds. American guard Avery Woodson (188-93, college: Butler) contributed with 32 points for the winners. Guard Topias Kuukkanen (187-92) replied with 26 points and 5 rebounds and American guard Mario Edwards (191-88, college: Co.Carolina) added 15 points and 10 assists in the effort for UU-Korihait. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Despite that victory Ura Basket went down to ninth position due to points difference. UU-Korihait at the other side keeps the seventh place with five games lost. Ura Basket's next round opponent will be Helsinki Seagulls (#10) at home.
