Regular Season Round 3: La Union - Rocamora 70-76

The game between closely ranked teams ended with Rocamora's (4-1) road victory over La Union (2-2) 76-70 on Friday. Rocamora forced 20 La Union turnovers. It was a great evening for point guard Facundo Gago (177-96) who led his team to a victory scoring 17 points and 5 assists. American power forward Arlando Cook (203-95, college: Arkansas) helped adding 16 points and 8 rebounds. The best for the losing side was swingman Luciano Silva (190-96) with 21 points and forward Franco Benitez (199-95) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Rocamora will face Chivilcoy Racing (#6) at home in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. La Union will play against CA Platense in Florida and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
