Regular Season Round 12: Kanazawa Sam. - Kagawa FA 85-58

There was a minor upset in Ishikawa where 5th ranked Kagawa FA (3-9) was outplayed by fifth ranked Kanazawa Sam. (4-9) 85-58 on Friday. Kanazawa Sam. forced 25 Kagawa FA turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Denzel Bowles (208-89, college: JMU) who helped to win the game recording 28 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists (went 12 for 12 at the free throw line !!!) and Jamaican-American power forward Ryan Reid (204-86, college: Florida St.) who added 8 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was American forward Reginald Warren (204-81, college: W.Florida, agency: Inception Sports) with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds and his fellow American import guard Terrance Woodbury (201-87, college: Georgia) scored 13 points and 5 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Kanazawa Sam. moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Ehime OV. Loser Kagawa FA keeps the fifth position with nine games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
