Regular Season Round 7: Pogon Prudnik - WKK Wroclaw 87-79

Worth to mention about the upset in a game between WKK Wroclaw (5-2) and Pogon Prudnik (3-4), which took place in Prudnik. 4th placed WKK Wroclaw lost to tenth ranked Pogon Prudnik in a road game 79-87 on Saturday. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of WKK Wroclaw. It was a very good performance for Tomasz Prostak (188-88, agency: Octagon Europe) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 4 assists. The former international Marcin Sroka (201-81, agency: Promotex) contributed with 19 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Point guard Michal Jedrzejewski (184-98) answered with 19 points and 4 assists and forward Jakub Patoka (200-94) added 12 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for WKK Wroclaw. Four Pogon Prudnik and five WKK Wroclaw players scored in double figures. Pogon Prudnik moved-up to ninth place, which they share with AZS AGH KR and STK Czarni. Newly promoted WKK Wroclaw dropped to the third position with two games lost. Pogon Prudnik will face league's leader Sokol Lancut on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. WKK Wroclaw will play against STK Czarni and hope to win that game.
