There was no surprise when 10th ranked Milano (2-4) was defeated at home by fifth ranked Scrivia (5-1) 53-42 on Saturday. Scrivia held Milano to an opponent 22.9 percent shooting from the field compared to 32.8 percent accuracy of the winners. The best player for the winners was center Clara Salvini (180-92) who had a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds. Swingman Irene Pieropan (175-91) chipped in 9 points and 10 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Cecilia Zagni (180-95) who recorded 6 points and 8 rebounds and Bulgarian center Gabriela Kostova (190-94) added 4 points and 10 rebounds respectively. Milano's coach Franz Pinotti rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Scrivia maintains fifth position in A2 with 5-1 record.
