Politechnika Gdanska's fans can finally celebrate the first win of their team after five consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Enea AZS P. (1-5) 88-71 on Saturday. It was a great shooting night for Politechnika Gdanska especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 58.8 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American guard Maegan Conwright (173-92, college: Florida St.) notched 27 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists to lead the effort and the former international center Martyna Koc (186-83, agency: Promotex) supported her with 15 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Politechnika Gdanska players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 20 points, 16 rebounds and 5 assists by American center Khaalia Hillsman (197-96, college: Texas A&M) did not help to save the game for Enea AZS P.. Montenegrin forward Irena Matovic (186-88) added 21 points and 6 rebounds. Politechnika Gdanska left bottom position moving up to ninth place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Enea AZS P.
