Regular Season Round 7: Salt - Quart 68-96

Very predictable result when third ranked Quart (6-1) smashed on the road 13th ranked Salt (1-6) 96-68 on Saturday. It was a great evening for guard Eric Jimenez (190-90) who led his team to a victory scoring 24 points. Center Raphael Dos-Santos (201-91) helped adding 13 points and 7 rebounds. Five Quart players scored in double figures. At the losing side swingman Marc Juanola (192-92) responded with 20 points and 6 rebounds and Jordi Carrera (-98) scored 17 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Quart moved-up to second place in Group C-A. Salt lost their sixth game in a row. They keep the thirteenth position with six games lost. Quart will face league's leader Igualada at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Salt will play against Olivar (#6) in Zaragoza and hope to win that game.
