Very important is a home loss of second ranked Polonia Bytom (5-2) against fifth ranked MCKiS Jaworz. (5-2) on Saturday night. Host Polonia Bytom was defeated by MCKiS Jaworz. in Bytom 72-59. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Polonia Bytom. It was an exceptional evening for Sebastian Dusilo (198-92) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 11 rebounds. Power forward Daniel Goldammer (200-89) accounted for 11 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side. Five MCKiS Jaworz. players scored in double figures. MCKiS Jaworz.'s coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Power forward Mateusz Migala (201-94) came up with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 11 rebounds and Emil Podkowinski (194-88) added 19 points respectively for Polonia Bytom in the defeat. The victory was the third consecutive win for MCKiS Jaworz.. They moved-up to second place in Group C, which they share with Polonia Bytom and AZS UJK Kielce. MCKiS Jaworz.'s next round opponent will be Zaglebie (#8) in Sosnowiec which should be theoretically an easy game. Polonia Bytom will play on the road against Wisla Krakow (#5) and hope to win that game.
