Regular Season Round 7: Boet - Salou 88-80

No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Mataro Parc Boet (5-2) won against at home 10th ranked Salou (2-5) 88-80 on Saturday. It was a great evening for American Nicholas Moore (198-91, college: Nyack) who led his team to a victory scoring 16 points and 7 rebounds. Point guard Hector Aza (181-0) helped adding 8 points and 6 assists. At the losing side American Everrett Pleasant (198-92, college: Tex.A&M-Comm.) responded with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 14 rebounds and guard Eloi Galofre (195-87) scored 18 points and 6 rebounds. Five Salou players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Mataro Parc Boet moved-up to third place in Group C-A, which they share with Tarragona and Mataro Feimat. Newly promoted Salou dropped to the twelfth position with five games lost. Mataro Parc Boet will face Castellbisbal (#8) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Salou will play against Martorell (#10) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
