Regular Season Round 7: Culleredo - Agustinos-Leclerc 114-74

Everything went according to plan when fifth ranked Culleredo (3-1) outscored at home bottom-ranked Agustinos-Leclerc (0-4) 114-74 on Saturday. Culleredo shot 63.6 percent from the field. They also forced 19 Agustinos-Leclerc turnovers. They shot the lights out from three sinking 17 long-distance shots on high 68.0 percentage. Culleredo looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Agustinos-Leclerc's players. It was a great evening for Georgian swingman Luka Bulashvili (192-98) who led his team to a victory scoring 43 points (!!!) and 7 steals. Guard Alvaro Anon (183-0) helped adding 7 points and 12 assists. At the losing side swingman Guillermo Rodriguez (198, college: Dakota Bottineau) responded with 13 points and 5 assists and Javier Lopez scored 12 points. Agustinos-Leclerc's coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Culleredo moved-up to third place in Group A-B, which they share with 3 other teams. Agustinos-Leclerc lost their fourth game in a row. They still close the standings with four games lost. Culleredo will face league's second-placed Ponferrada CDP on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Agustinos-Leclerc will play against the league's leader Estudiantes L. (#1) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
