Serbian guard Dusan Djordjevic (193-83, agency: BeoBasket) scored 12 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) to lead the charge for the winners and Montenegrin Nemanja Djurisic (203-92, college: Georgia) chipped in 14 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was American forward Zach Thomas (201-96, college: Bucknell) with 24 points and 8 rebounds and Dutch center Thomas van-der-Mars (208-90, college: Portland, agency: Duran International) scored 12 points and 6 rebounds. Five Oostende and four Okapi Aalstar players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Okapi Aalstar at the other side dropped to the ninth place with four games lost. They share the position with Liege. Okapi Aalstar will play next round against Antwerp Giants trying to get back on the winning streak. Oostende will try to continue on its current victory against eighth ranked Limburg United on the road.
