We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when twelfth ranked Martorell (2-5) beat at home 11th ranked Cornella (2-5) 81-69 on Saturday. Martorell forced 22 Cornella turnovers. It was a great evening for point guard Albert Valle (181-92) who led his team to a victory scoring 17 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals. Point guard Ivan Llull (185-92) helped adding 19 points and 4 assists. At the losing side guard Xavi Guirao (190-87) responded with 24 points and forward Nacho Marin (200-93) scored 10 points and 8 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Martorell moved-up to tenth place in Group C-A, which they share with Cornella and Salou. Martorell will face Salou (#12) on the road in the next round.
