Regular Season Round 9: GET Vosges - Sorgues BC 92-84

There was an upset when higher ranked Sorgues BC (5-4) lost to thirteenth ranked GET Vosges (2-7) in Golbey 84-92 on Saturday. GET Vosges made 22-of-28 free shots (78.6 percent) during the game. It was a good game for American forward Rodney Williams (201-93, college: Drexel) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 13 rebounds. Forward William Pfister (208-95, college: Florida Atlantic) contributed with 14 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Four GET Vosges players scored in double figures. Jonathan Boucaud (187-95) answered with 27 points and 5 rebounds and center David Conde (202-92) added 17 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Sorgues BC. GET Vosges moved-up to twelfth place in Group A, which they share with Aubenas and Kaysersberg. Sorgues BC lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the fifth position with four games lost. GET Vosges will face higher ranked Besancon (#5) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Sorgues BC will play against the league's leader Souffelweyersheim where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
