Regular Season Round 12: Tochigi Brex - Shiga L-Stars 98-61

No shocking result in a game when second ranked Tochigi Brex (10-2) smashed at home 5th ranked Shiga L-Stars (3-9) 98-61 on Sunday. Tochigi Brex looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by Shiga L-Stars' players. The best player for the winners was American forward Ryan Rossiter (204-89, college: Siena) who had a triple-double by scoring 12 points, 12 rebounds and 13 assists. The former international guard Yusuke Endo (185-89) chipped in 22 points. Four Tochigi Brex players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Nigerian-American power forward Gani Lawal (206-88, college: Georgia Tech, agency: Octagon Europe) who recorded a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds and American-Israeli center DOr Fischer (211-81, college: W.Virginia) added 10 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists respectively. Shiga L-Stars' coach Shawn Dennis gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Tochigi Brex keeps a position of league leader, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser Shiga L-Stars keep the fifth place with nine games lost. Tochigi Brex will face league's leader Chiba Jets at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Shiga L-Stars will play against the league's second-placed Diamond Dolphins (#2) in Nagoya and hope to win that game.
